The sauce started off too thick but gradually improved in consistency. The ingredients tasted so so but were very generous in portion. Overall, an average bowl of lor mee.

For $5 there are 4 generous thick slices of crispy fish besides the usual ingredients. The gravy was just nice, not too thick or watery. Flavour was perfect with a hint of 八角. Lor Mee is not usually my cup of tea but now this stall has become my favourite lor mee. Love it.

Ordered the $7 signature lor mee which came with a pretty hefty bowl of lor mee and some fried items on the side. The lor mee sauce was thick and rich, and the noodle portions as well as the pork belly slices were pretty generous and tasty. …

While there is another Lor Mee on the same Level 1 at Golden Mile Food Centre, I find this 86 Lor Mee to be equally yummy and value-for-money… the gravy is also not overly gluey. Try their signature Lor Mee at $7- can be shared by two persons to be honest! It comes with fried prawn tempura and even fish fillet!

One of the best lor mee in Singapore! The gravy is thick and has a nice balanced braised flavour, won’t turn watery even after you stir. Ngoh hiang are all freshly made by the stall owner and are very good. Their $4 portion is generous and filling. Only thing to note - go easy on the chilli sauce as it’s really spicy!
