O Chicken at The Bencoolen is a Korean fried chicken restaurant that pairs its crispy, double-fried chicken with the equally beloved Korean shaved ice dessert, bingsu. The menu features chicken in a range of sauces from sweet and spicy to soy garlic, alongside bingsu topped with sweet red bean, matcha, mango or fresh fruit, offering a complete Korean comfort food experience from savoury to sweet. The casual, vibrant setting makes it an easy choice for group dinners and celebrations where sharing plates of chicken and a towering bingsu become the centrepiece of the table. O Chicken also offers other Korean staples such as tteokbokki, japchae and ramen for those who want to round out the meal. The restaurant operates within The Bencoolen, drawing both residents and visitors who crave the satisfying crunch of Korean fried chicken without leaving the neighbourhood. Uncle was all-smiles and fast, he managed to shorten my jeans in an hour. The price was very affordable at $6. …

Uncle is nice to alter for me on the spot. He wanted me to have a meal first and return but when I said I have already eaten he did my alteration right away. Charged very cheaply for a dress alteration. Do support!

Although I haven’t seen the end products, one thing I can vouch for is the reasonable rates. To those who give poor reviews like Brian Ng, I would say you should go to top of the line tailor to get your clothes altered. Do show kindness and cut him some slack, as he is advanced in age.

Uncle did a really nice job of shortening my shirts in a short period of time, and insisted i not pay him anymore than his really affordable price! he's very nice and communication is not a problem at all :)
